Why Life Screams

In the grand scope of all things, rock music might not count for much. But life does. The life we live is about all we have. Sometimes when we are auto-pilot, we forget. Or, maybe it is better to say we don't remember who we are or what we are doing here. Sometimes, music jolts you back into what's important.

This song, this power ballad from someone who is not quiet 5 foot tall, hit me hard. Life Screams it's calling you by name, somehow you feel it in your soul, but you carry on with your business like you didn't hear this melody that calls you home.

I was a missionary. I explained to people where they came from, why they are here and where they will go when they die. However, even I forget that He wants so much more for us. Life is screaming out for us to remember, to live better, do better, be better. Life screams because I am not listening. I am too busy working, shopping, watching TV or tryng do my home teaching. Sometimes I don't hear the melody calling me home. It is good to have a reminder.
