Save me from losing myself

I haven't written in a while. No reason. Just didn't.

In the meantime, I did start listening to some new artists. The Letter Black being one of them. This is a band, that is a band first, but is Christian and isn't afraid to put their beliefs in their songs. It is kind of like an athlete that is not outwardly Christian until he scores a touchdown and then looks up and points to the heavens.

Their song Hanging On By A Thread is a good example of a rock band writing in a message that can be taken just as a good message or something deeper.

This brings up a good point. Sometimes I need a good message that has something more. Sometimes I need a driving song to get me pumped. That is another reason I like a lot of christian rock. I can get both in the same song.
