Hijacking Symmetry

I have been wanting to write about Falling Up all week. This experimental band has an interesting range of music due to its constantly changing line up. They have driving songs that show remarkable musicality and slower songs that a layered deeply with over-tracks and complex in their arrangement.

Sadly, there is a minority out there that has hijacked their music. At first, I didn't understand the band. As I read the lyrics, they are crystal clear. There is no mistaking their message. I mean seriously, there is absolutely no question on how they feel about God, their struggle here, hope and redemption, and other Gospel topics.

But some of their songs have been hijacked. Of course the internet is full of idiots and morons, but there are several places where they write that this music is the perfect stoner music much like the Grateful Dead. Shows you that stoners have killed too many brain cells.

Another group hijacked this song, Symmetry. In anime there is a rather disturbing and brain dead show called Death the Kid. One of the truly stupid things ever made. If you go to YouTube and find this song, the fans of this moronic show have hijacked this song because this kid in the show freezes and gets killed when he see symmetry.

Besides that, the music is great. That opening is nice and there are some background guitars that are just cool.
