There are a lot of people who hate Christians. It goes a lot further than a simple dislike. These people a rabid haters. They post on boards and comment on every story. They try to convince people they are stupid, ignorant, or brain dead if you believe not only in the Savior, but in God in general. They preach that since God cannot be proven, that it is a myth of the feeble and desperate. They are zealous in their criticisms and are devout in their quest to change your mind. They are committed to their cause and a witnesses of the fallacy of God.
Convince

Zealous
Devout
Committed
Witness
It is interesting that the same words are used to describe any true believer from any religion. Which begs the question, why do they care so much? Why are they so zealous in their quest to disprove you and your beliefs? Is that their religion?
I'll admit that I like to argue with them. "Oh yeah, you wanna dance..."
But, I have taught my kids to say one simple thing and shut them up for good. I have used it dozens of times and no one can come back with a decent retort.
"The onus is not mine to prove that there is a God. When you prove without a doubt there is no God, come find me and I will show you more respect than you are showing me now."
First of all, most of these ignoramuses haven't got a clue what onus means. They cannot even understand it in context. Second, why do I have to defend God to you? Why do I have to prove his existence? Why am I burdened with the defense? You cannot prove with any certainty, concrete evidence, or scientific method that God does not exist. The best you can do is have faith in your beliefs. But here is the rub, who's faith is stronger? Faith in something? or Faith against something?
I'm calling you out!
